Frequentely Asked Questions

  • Therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to explore your experiences, emotions, and challenges in a safe and supportive environment. It’s a space to build self-awareness, process past and present struggles, and develop tools to navigate life more confidently and clearly. My approach prioritizes building a trusting relationship, honoring your pace, and fostering healing through mindfulness, somatic awareness, and connection. Whether facing life transitions, relationship challenges, or trauma, therapy can help you move toward growth and a greater sense of well-being.

  • Each therapy session typically lasts 50–55 minutes. The overall length of your therapy journey depends on your unique needs, goals, and pace. We’ll work together to determine when we’ve achieved the outcomes you’re striving for, whether that’s short-term support or a longer journey of growth and healing. Therapy is a personalized process, and the timeline will reflect what works best for you.

  • The frequency of therapy depends on your needs and goals. Many clients start with weekly sessions to build momentum and consistency, while others may opt for bi-weekly or monthly appointments as they progress. Together, we’ll determine a schedule that supports your growth while fitting into your life.

  • Your first session is all about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping to explore or shift, and any questions or concerns you have. You don’t need to prepare anything or have your story perfectly figured out—I’ll meet you wherever you are. Together, we’ll start to shape a path forward that feels supportive, intentional, and aligned with your goals.

    - Legal requirements: Therapists are required to be licensed by their state and adhere to ethical and legal standards, while coaches are not subject to the same regulations.

    - Insurance coverage: Therapy services can be covered by health insurance, while coaching is generally not covered.
